Definitely my family and friends! Now that I'm no longer out of state for college, I've been able to spend a lot more time with my family and make new memories with them. I don't get to see my friends as much now since we are all in different places, but staying in touch with them I'm seeing them grow and really get their lives started just as much as I am. It makes me happy to see my family all together in one place and seeing my friends succeed!
Being in the Computer Science field, you have to be willing to learn, even after graduating from high school, college, or just getting into the field. You don't truly stop learning once you are outside of school in this field because new and better technologies are coming out every day, and it is important to be able to learn them and adapt. It doesn't matter what part of the Computer Science field you are in either, you will always have to have the mindset to learn and a willingness to do so.
I want to excel in my career so I can comfortably continue to do the things I love outside of it, like affording my hobbies and going on trips, big or small, with my friends and family. Being in this career allows me to do that. Outside of just a money standpoint though, this career also challenges me and allows me the opportunity to problem solve, and there is a satisfaction behind being able to solve a difficult problem or issue. That point is what leads me into getting excited to be working. There is a solution for what I am working on somewhere, and I just have to find it or put it together myself. Seeing what comes together after being able to do that is really amazing!
