One time I was watching a man carve a figurine out of a block of wood at a market. He had a table full of them in all different sizes. I picked one up and I asked him how long it took him to carve it and without pausing his work, he said "Time and quality don’t go well together. Don’t worry about time." I think about that often when I’m working. While I do technically have to track my time in my job, it reminds me that I chose this career path because I enjoy it and to just get lost in the fun parts of what I do.
Living closer to family again!
